General Membership Meeting

April 10, 2022

President Bob Fankhauser called the April 10, 2022 meeting to order.

The minutes from the March 6, 2022 meeting were approved as read by Carolyn Clement.

Treasurer’s report was read by Nancy Beisler.  A motion was made by Harold Fields and 2nd by Jesse Alvarez to accept the treasurers report, subject to audit.  Motion carried.

President Report:  A motion was made by Pam Murray and 2nd by Janet White to donate $1000 to the Sam Center Freedom Ride.  Motion carried.

Vice-President Report:  Jim Smith reminded us to sign for the Constitution and to remember to remove head gear during opening prayer.

COB Report:

Gun Bash:  Harold Fields reported that a record amount of $18,370 from ticket sales has been received. Breakdown of tickets sold so far: Main 250/600, Green 216/500, Tan 246/500.  Please turn in unsold tickets ASAP as there are customers on a waiting list.

New Business

A motion was made by Pam Murray and 2nd by Sandy Wilfong to donate $250 to Kelly Keener for Toy Soldiers.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Janet White and 2nd by Pat McPherson to spend up to $800 to purchase a stadium chair and bronze plaque to be placed at Cuyahoga Falls High School.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Paulette Pinczes and 2nd by Pat McPherson to allocate up to $500 for trailer maintenance at Majestic Trailer.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Janet White and 2nd by Jesse Alvarez to spend $240 to purchase 4 reverse raffle tickets from Sons of Italy.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Jim Jarrett and 2nd by Pam Murray to donate $1500 to the Greater Cleveland Fisher House.  Motion carried.

There being no further business to come before the chapter, a motion was made by James Pierse and 2nd by Pam Murray to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.
