Chapter 2 is Committed to Assisting Veterans with the Continuation of their Education.
To that end, we established the Rolling Thunder Ohio Chapter 2 Veteran’s Scholarship in partnership with Stark State College.
Starting with a donation of $5,000 in 2017 the fund is now over $90,000. Scholarship dollars are given from the interest only so that the fund continues to grow. Scholarships are supplemental to other government benefits the veteran receives. We have provided over $9,000 in benefits so far including two scholarships this year for $1000 each.
“This scholarship will be immensely helpful in my pursuit to further my education. Times are tough right now and every little bit helps. I am looking forward to using this scholarship towards my schooling and this will help me achieve my goals.” Jason Marcinik.
