President Bob Fankhauser called the July 10, 2022 meeting to order.
The minutes from the June 5, 2022 meeting were approved as read by Carolyn Clement.
Treasurer’s report was read by Nancy Beisler. A motion was made by Dave Noaker and 2nd by JoAnn Suladie to accept the treasurers report, subject to audit. Motion carried.

Gun Bash: Harold Fields reported that we received $4890.00 from ticket sales. Breakdown of tickets sold: Main 497/600, Green 330/500, and Tan 393/500. He has several unsold $10 tickets.
Events: Sandy Wilfong reported to us that we made $1257.91 on the All Wheels for Veterans Scavenger Hunt Ride. Also, Darlene informed us that our Christmas party will be held after our meeting on November 6. $10 gift exchange, children and grandchildren are welcome, Bring a gift for your child or grandchild.

Scholarship Endowment: Janet White reported to us that our current balance is $73,741.02. To date we have assisted 7 Veterans advance their education.

Madison, Kayleigh, and Annie demonstrated how to fold and retire the American Flag.
Elections (form committee at June meeting). Dave Noaker conducted our first round of nominations. The following have accepted for the Executive Board. V.P. Wes Suladie, COB Jerry Oppie, Treasurer Nancy Beisler. The following have accepted for Board Member: Erik Szerokman, Gerry Beisler, Kelly Keener, Janet White, and Harold Fields.
Ongoing Business
New Business
On Saturday, August 20th there will be a run to the Military Family Center Pegasus Farm located at 5495 Meese Road, Louisville, OH 44641.
The VFW annual corn roast will be held on Saturday, August 27th from noon until 6:00pm.
A motion was made by Bill Petrak and 2nd by Pam Murray that we purchase 16 flag boxes from Bill Diehl at a cost of $800.00 ($50 each). Motion carried.
The Hoe Down has been canceled.
Our next Board and General Membership meeting is August 7th.
There being no further business to come before the chapter, a motion was made by Bud Roeder and 2nd by Janet White to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
