General Membership Meeting

President Bob Fankhauser called the February 5, 2023 meeting to order.

The minutes from the January 8, 2023 meeting were approved as read by Carolyn Clement.

Treasurer’s report was read by Nancy Beisler.  A motion was made by Dave Noaker and 2nd by Pat McPherson to accept the treasurers report, subject to audit.  Motion carried.

President Report: Chapter dues of $40 are payable at this time.

Make sure and sign for the newest Constitution. A sign-up sheet for the Piston Power Show was sent around.

Vice-President Report:  Wes read thank you notes from the Stark County VSC, the Sam Center, and the Woody Williams Foundation.  We received a $250 donation from Joe Stepka and $400 from Dave And Susan Homan for our scholarship fund and $100 from Jack Dowler for the Suicide Prevention Fund.

Patches: Congratulations to Julian Duncan on receiving his junior member patch and to JoAnn Suladie on receiving her Rocker and Eagle.

Ron Mani Award:

Committees

Events: The event fund would welcome ideas for a social or fundraiser.

Gun Bash: Kevin Ivey:  Tickets have been sent to the printers and will, hopefully, be available at the March meeting

50/50:  Was won by Donna Smith.  $34 will be deposited to events.

New Business

A motion was made by Pat McPherson and 2nd by Jim Smith to donate $1200 to Volunteers of America.  The funds will be allocated to the Sara J Harper Village in Cleveland, which is a 12-unit apartment for homeless women veterans.  Motion carried.

The next spaghetti dinner will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 5:00 -7:00.

Our next meeting will be on March 5th.

There being no further business to come before the chapter, a motion was made by Pat McPherson and 2nd by JoAnn Suladi to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.
